There is still some mystery with the chantry. What is the maker? Is he real? Who was Andraste? Though it can still be washed away with a generic all elf shit answer which is the problem too. There was just no nuance with lore in Veilguard. It's like they wanted everything to be over as quick as possible so just said yeah elves to every question.
