it was a reasonable gamble which Hamas lost
if Hezbollah - Syria - Iran - Yemen - Iraq militias had all MOVED quickly against Israel after 7 October, they could have rekt Israel
but it was not in the cards
there is an especial question as to whether Iran was controlled opposition all along, along with Hamas itself
