That's so much of what I love about it as well. There was a fascinating time that I feel kinda started in the early 80's and was really gone by theend of the 90's where culturally computers and the internet were becoming prevalent but it still felt up in the air as to what it all was. The thought that "cyberspace" was this sort of real other dimension you could get sucked into if you spent too much time in a VR art museum or something. Pretty soon everyone would see the internet was really just blogs ny soccer moms and ads for beanie babies but it all felt mystical and amazing for a while.
