There will be real deaths.
The media will gloss over the 100 health fucked people who die to focus on the ONE child, or "healthy" mother, or "guy in his prime" that it kills.
Imagine how the media reports violence by niggers and against niggers, then transfer that to "plague deaths". The will also cook the books hard (like last time) and "seasonal flu deaths" will tank, while "Persian Plague" deaths will be everyone who dies in a hospital.

But there will be A SMALL NUMBER of real deaths. Probably about +500k / year, compared to the 3 million / year who die from ALL causes now.

I'm going with "man made viral attack". It will be like a slightly worse Covid with a kill rate of BARELY 1% (mostly old fat fucks with other comorbidities).
