Or you could try not being a newfag and looking at how Fortnite was handled in ch1 when seasons were shorter and packed with content.
There was no drip feeding
There was no ip cock swallowing
There was no unbalanced loot pool because half the items weren't in yet
There was no chance of a season feeling too stale because they'd add in new things every week or two to shake things up
They were all 2-3 months maximum with few exceptions for longer. And if something did worse they'd cut it short. Versus ch4 or ch5 where it was like 4 months long a season and everything sucked.

>Come up with 3 fortnite original gimmicks that could carry a season beyond og1, og2 doesn't count,
It does count and if you don't understand why they worked I'll spell it out in bullet points
- Really nice passes at least 1 or 2 were mainstays for many lockers
- Smaller map with more POIs packed in
- More items in the lootpool and a more balanced lootpool in general
- When things got stale the loot pool was changed, new POIs were added and new vehicles were added
- EXP wasn't throttled so people were able to play at an even pace in whatever mode they wanted.
- There wasn't a billion splinter modes
- Content moved so fast there wasn't a reason not to play

If you wanted a mini season to succeed you just put one main collab in, two in the pass, 4 og skins and loosely fit the season.
Given it's October the miniseason should've been NOW and the pass should've been Halloween themed with Scooby doo and Ghost face as pass skins. Then all you have to do is keep the loot pool fresh and the island condensed with no shitty wookie team leader skins and collabs kept to a tasteful amount.
