Yeah OP >>12073936 you're free to do whatever you want with your pack but I'm also of the opinion that it's both more accurate and more fun to have the option to load games through a file manager within the emulated OS rather than/in addition to using Launchbox. Some of the best VHD game packs I tried rely on Commander-like interfaces for selecting game, like LHES for X68000 and MultiMente for MSX I figured out how to get that MSX disk image working in emulation but probably won't be able to write a guide before this thread dies

Other options to consider are configuring game launchers to use within DOS, like the era appropriate Quikmenu-III or modern projects like https://github.com/marco-sacchi/RLoader. Or if you wanna DIY it you could throw together a quick batch script (https://www.vogons.org/viewtopic.php?p=1089780#p1089780) or even write your own launcher in QBasic or Turbo Pascal.

Anyway it's your pack and you have no obligations to /vr/ but to organize it in the way that gives you the most personal satisfaction. Just throwing out some ideas I came up with while thinking about how I would eventually lol put together my own pack to help it stand out from the other collections on archive.
