Walmart and Target their their stuff shipped first because they need to travel further and they order the most stock.

So you may not see them there first, because they need to get to local distribution centers and THEN get sent out to retail stores... who may or may not get the newest figures, depending on how well the previous waves sold.

Whereas Amazon has fewer distribution centers/warehouses, so there's less travel time AND shit gets shipped out directly from their warehouses, instead of a 4,000-10,000 retail stores. So of course Amazon will have theirs available to ship/sell before Walmart/Target.
