I don't think it's in question anymore that mixed vtuber corps just don't work. There's no audience for it.
Male vtuber corps are proving to be successful and female vtuber corps have always been successful but no one really wants to watch the "mixed gender friend group experience" it's just not a niche anyone cares about. Just stick to your niche instead of trying to force fairness in the entertainment industry. No one is going to watch out of fairness.

I was already a fan of Mint, Doki, and Miki before Nijisanji so I can't thank them for introducing me. If anything I hold resentment for them for putting together my dream corpo of vtubers I already loved and then killing it by screwing all of them over. It just made me jaded towards corpo vtubing as a whole. Only supporting indies from now on.
