With all factors like men becoming less awkward and obsessed with women as they mature, prefrontal development completing and people better decisions (which women most certainly did not when they were young and had far more options), how habituated women are to getting whatever they want in life, the closing window for viable pregnancies, the shrinking pool of unattached monogamous people as the phase of life shifts, the far higher prevalence of male-over-female age gaps, the far higher likelihood of the most desirable men of that age either finding what they want and getting off the market or being terminal bachelors who go for much younger women, the cultural shift (attitudes, gender wars, political divide, manosphere, etc.) that has dissuaded many people from dating at all, and the sheer availability of modern distractions, 30 is a rough age to be dating for women and it only gets worse from there.
