its crazy that this fag controls basically every aspect of our lives. our perception on the world is entirely dependent on where we are relative to it. you could say you woke up at 5pm, but that only seems lazy because you "wasted" half the "day". In practice, you will probably stay awake the same amount of time, but because you spend half of that outside of daylight, suddenly you are seen as not normal, even if you get the same amount of work done. in the age of the lightbulb, why does sunlight hold dominion over the concept of "time to work"? the only positions you can take if you want to work at night are all at the bottom rungs of the societal ladder, like gas station clerks or security guards. even home office doesnt solve the issue because they will pester you with meetings throughout the day. before covid at least a few places stayed open 24/7, now its as if people were robots and the charging ports at home are only online between 11pm and 7am.
