Ezekiel talks about a land without walls or bars, where people dwell safely. The state of Israel has a huge wall and i can't say people dwell safely in here, at least not all of them as Ezekiel said.
Also. The book of Revelation states that those nations will come up on the breadth of the world and encompass the camp of the saints and the beloved city. Israel celebrates sodomy and tortures Christians, so not exactly a camp for saints and the beloved city is a city that won't touch the earth until a New Earth is made, so it's not exactly old Jerusalem that not only is not a flying city but also celebrates sodomy publicly and persecutes anyone who says in public that those parades shouldn't be.
The only point that remains that the old Holy Land is the location of the war of Gog and Magog is that the chief invaders are Turkey, Persia, Ethiopia and Libya which are all geographically close to the old Holy Land.
Then my best guess will be that pure Israelites will come to this land one day to inherit it and they will become the camp of the saints and they will have no walls and dwell safely. That even somewhat lines up with my dreams.
