The inability to properly search backrow is currently one of the major problem areas for me when it comes to Killer Tune.
Nothing fucking extends so you end up in a fucked situation where the only non-monster searching you can do is exclusively during the opponent's turn, where the searching doesn't mean anything
>Reco can search Level 2s, but they can't summon themselves so you can't do the 2+2=4 Track Maker play and are forced into the 2+3=5 Red Seal/Remix play
>Mix can only search Level 3s, but they can't summon themselves so you can't THEN go into a Level 2 searcher to do the 2+2=4 Track Maker play and are forced into 2+3=5 Red Seal/Remix play
So the only proper option is to just open both Reco and either Mix or Clip, then search a Level 2 and wait for the opponent's turn to Clip into Track Maker to THEN search a backrow card (during your fucking opponent's turn)
That unrevealed monster needs to be substantial otherwise the deck is basically dead in the water. I'm talking
>If this card is used as Synchro Material: You can Set 1 "Killer Tune" Spell/Trap from your Deck. It can be activated this turn.
levels of substantial
