Desu a benevolent despot isn't horrible with long as he is truly benevolent. The issue is more all systems will invariably collapse under bad faith actors assuming positions of power and using it to exploit the people they should protect. It seems nothing is immune to human stupidity and greed be it a capitalist, communist or anarchist framework

I bought one in January but I took it back within the two weeks return window because I wasn't really using it that much and switch 2 was coming out and I figured it would scratch the same itch so it seemed like a waste of money, but as emd of year raise + bonus approaches I'm once again reminded that money isn't really and you can just buy whatever you want without consequences so I'm thinking of buying one again.
