Oh I got a lot to recommend.
There a gigantic mega mall in the center of the city called Canal City Hakata. Get used to Hakata as that was the old name for Fukuoka. You'll see it a lot.
Anyways inside of it there is Ramen Stadium, it is by far hands down the best Ramen place if you like Hakkata style ramen so thick broth.

Now not sure when you're going but
Ramen Stadium will be closed for the time being as of August 31, 2025. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all our customers for their patronage.
We will reopen in the spring of 2026.
Another good mall is the LaLa Port Fukuoka but it's shit to get to you'll need a bus It has a Gundam just like in Tokyo but this time it's the RX-93 v Gundam from Chars Counter Attack it's also by far the biggest at 25 meters.
If you like to party, drink and stuff there the Nakasu Island next to the Canal City Mall there tons of small places. But more importantly it has one of the last remaining legal street food old style vendors in Japan it's called Nakasu Food Stalls Street
Ohori Park is a really cool lake part really good for taking pictures, you also have the Ruins of the castle nearby the whole area is a nice walk.
The Aburayama Katae Observation Deck is fantastic at night to see the city.
If you like a bit of a walk uphill there the Ono Fortress Ruins and there tons of observation posts along the way to see the city.
If you'd like a very close and personal view of planes landing Fukuoka has an airport in the middle of the city so you can just go to Shimotsukiguma 1 Go Ryokuchi Park and see planes land overhead. It's kind of like the Itami airport one if you've ever been there.
Fukuoka Tower is nice to visit and there museums and shops on the way there. You can also go to Nokoshima Island from thats really close. And if you played Ghost of Tsushima, thats also the place to go to Tsushima and the DLC Ikki island.
