At least the mistake wasn't expensive, it was my drive used for game storage and it just often fails to mount correctly on boot now and some games have a lot of stutters. SMART status looks good outside of a large number of logged non-critical errors. But yeah I since found out that kingston drives have a high failure rate... Yuck, think I'll just stick to better and more expensive brands, to date I haven't had a single samsung fail on me (not even the first gen drives that's still going strong). Also when I saw the speed of gen 5 drives I just knew I had to get one...
