The brightest glowing red flag to me is that the pilots are anonymous and they take their anonymity seriously.
They take secrecy way too seriously compared to the risks. Most big streamers aren't anonymous and seem to manage just fine, but every vtuber acts like the public knowing who they are is the end of the world.

They're acting like they don't want to get caught doing something shady. But there's no crime associated with being a vtuber, and while stalkers are a problem they aren't actually that common.

Who are all vtubers hiding from? Are they all secretly spooks/CIA assets/MKDRACO assassins/ayylmao?

I like where this conspiracy is going. I bet half of the secrecy is just to build mystery. Clearly the is an occult angle to it.
