As someone with a C3R1 Yelan and C6R1 Furina, I actually do think that a C6 Aino is more likely to be relevant on lunar-charged teams than either of those.
The reaction itself scales off of EM, CR, and CD. XQ scales off of ATK while the other three scale off of HP. Aino doesn’t really do damage herself, but with a second Nod-Kirai unit and C2+ she has genuinely really good hydro application, an 80 EM buff at C1+ isn’t bad by any means, and you need at least two Nod-Kirai units for the artifact sets to not suck (and she’s also a really good holder for the EM set to boot).
There’s also the fact that most good off-field hydro application comes from bursts, which is a problem when you start with 0 energy in SO. Furina and Kokomi get it from their E instead, but both have other issues: Furina’s HP drain forces you to bring a healer while her main draw (the massive bonus dmg% buff from her burst) does barely anything for Nod-Kirai units, while Kokomi’s -100% CR means you’ll have to look elsewhere for a high EM/CR/CD unit for lunar-charged scaling. If you can’t fit a healer in elsewhere you could use Kokomi on a LC team just fine though. Aino’s burst is incredibly cheap, her C4 and the 5.8 event weapon make getting it running a joke, and it even has 100% uptime. As a bonus, her C6 buffs both the regular lunar-charged damage and the passive ability damage that’s the real source of DPS from Ineffa/Flins. 35% doesn’t sound like much, but when there are so few ways to buff lunar reaction damage, it makes a noticeable improvement.
