I was at 481+ by the time it came out, and I managed to get the spots from Blacksmith. I haven't even tried the other two, nobody on the shard can steal the spot from me either way.

No union has enough spots to accommodate another union fully, you would need several unions to merge into two or three. Also, drama could happen, and maybe danchodes just want to chill.
