Why is Evangelion still relevant in /a/'s consciousness 30 years later? No one talks about Yu Yu Hakusho, Fist of the North Star or other stuff from the 90s as much as Evangelion, we get an Asuka vs Rei thread literally every day

Unironically why don't Japanese mangaka work like the American comicbook artists? I mean separate the writing and the drawing, maybe hire colorists too. I'm sure SJ could afford it, it would balance out the workload. This way Oda could've focused on the story while his minions copy his style and maybe even improve upon it
