I can see where the memes and doujins come from. This episode was a bit strange. And worst of all, its drama all boils down to a misunderstanding. Its not the worst, but not good either.

Summary for the anons that need it, part 1: Hinata is trying to get everyone to head over to the mall. Chiyu is in, but Nodoka has someone to meet. As the two wonder what is up heading out, Nodoka suddenly dashes to meet some middle aged man; both rightfully worry. King Pathogen is angry that Daruizen hasn't megafied himself, and after getting an earful, he gives in and does it. The girls making sure everything is alright, go with Nodoka and have a small snack with the mysterious man, only to find out he is Nodoka's old doctor and they've been constantly writing to each other to the point the Doctor can guess each of the girl's names. While he misholds Latte, much to her frustration, he watches Nodoka with some concerned eyes. Turns out the doctor is staying at Chiyu's and Nodo's family all comes over to have dinner with him. Nodo shows off how much better she is with a healthy appetite, at which the Doc announces he's not vacationing, but actually quitting, feeling he was inadequate trying to help Nodoka. Nodoka flips and runs to Rabi, begging to be allowed to tell about the megapathogens. Asumi relieves Rabi by taking Nodo back to the doctor where they go for an evening walk.
