The Bouda were a tribe of cannibals who would rotten flesh, they roamed around Ethiopia, attacking and consuming all those they came across. Their greed and gluttony angered their now forgotten god and he cursed them to take the form of hyenas. But one man with born with the arcane arts managed to warp the curse into a boon. Half man, half hyena. He cursed the god, believing that his tribe were being punishing for being stronger then the others. Now he seeks revenge against the god and others who's powers are connected to the divinity of Africa.
