Maybe we could try making the world a marginally better place to live? You know, where kids don't have to work 2-3 jobs to MAYBE afford living outside their parent's houses. You know, re-build the class of people that can afford to buy a house, raise 2-3 kids, and occasionally travel on a single income. If we wanna get really wild, we could consider making resource acquisition within society something that people can actually do, rather than actively having to escape it for everything that they need to survive. Right now, and for as long as I've been an adult, the best hope I had of owning an actual house was finding a place that was almost inaccessible in the woods or mountains and building a cabin where no one could find me. Perhaps if the people who should be having kids were able to even lie to themselves enough to believe the world their children would grow up in would be a little better than the one they would be born into, less people would consider having kids to be such a bad thing. Instead, most of them are too worried about what they're going to be able to eat, let alone feed children.
