I just don't want to play as a Woman in a Samurai themed game. I have a certain image in my head, largely related to Kurosawa movies.

I got that with Jins game. It wasn't a particularly amazing game. But it fit that theme pretty damn well, and it was fun because of that. Underneath it all though - it's just another Ubisoft Collectathon with slightly better combat. Which isn't all that amazing in the modern era. So the only thing that had me interested in the game was the themes.
And the new game just doesn't have that. So I'm not interested and I didn't bother buying it.
