>that jacket
it's so unfair. When I was a teenager, I asked my mom for that same exact jacket and she said "no, it'll be a waste of money because you won't wear it"
It's literally my favorite jacket style
Fast forward to today, and who do I see donning that legendary coat? None other than my hero, Eric Barone. Now I officially know what to do, I'm going to sell my game and use my first paycheck from Steam to buy that jacket.
He'll see me at the Gamer Convention wearing it, and this is how we'll strike up a conversation.
>"Wow, you have great taste!"
and I'll say
>"Well thanks! So are you a journalist or just a fan of games??"
I'm sure this will surprise Eric, but it's all by design
>"What? Oh, no. I'm a developer, and the guy who made Stardew Valley if you could believe it"
>"Whoa, no kidding? I'm a game dev too, this is actually my first Gamer Convention. I'm actually kind of nervous"
A big grin will appear on Eric's face
>"Heh, don't worry about it, anon. I can call you anon, right? Well hey, I've actually been thinking about hiring a side kick, and your sense in style tells me you might be the right pick for the job. You in?"
>"What? Seriously?? I've always wanted to be someone's side kick, especially someone as cool as the man, the myth, the legend behind Stardew Valley!!"
With that new friendship of super dev and sidekick, a few years pass by. Eric releases haunted chocolatier, a smash hit no thanks to his side kick.
He sends me a note in the mail, it says
>"Thank you anon for being my number one side kick, and more importantly... my number one friend"
pic rel is me reading that letter from my hero, Eric. And it's all thanks to my first steam paycheck and purchase of the legendary Levi Jean Jacket with faux fur lining.
