Nah the problem is guys who defer to their wives and let them make all the decisions. Pretty much every culture pre ~1900 knew that was a bad idea.

Women are ruled by their emotions. They make decisions based on how they feel in a particular moment which can lead to disaster. Men can subordinate their emotions to higher principles and duties, view things more objectively and are thus better suited for leadership.

But our modern feminist culture tries to invert that - our media is full of portrayals of the bumbling man-child husband and the smart professional wife who holds things together. Our legal system privileges women in divorce, which in effect gives them the final say if they disagree with their husband.
