It really sucks that the most important factors to a good life are completely out of our control.
This begs the question of what CAN you personally do to change the quality of your life.
Are the boomers right when they say it's all "bootstraps and handshakes"

How reliable is Interactive Broker as a platform?
Would it be possible for me to live off of investments for a retirement plan? Put it in ETFs, let it compound while putting more in, then live off selling bits of it as needed when my real income stops

They keep pushing it back, it's now 65+ and I doubt I'll ever even get to see that pension money (everyone I know died/was dying in their early 60s)
