Shitposting aside, while I do understand that some people have been looking forward to Skirk for a long while, they really dropped the ball by not giving her ANY relevance or appearances in this past year since she was first released.
The thing that kills my interest in her for me is just how milquetoast her kit is. She's a Cryo on fielder for Freeze teams. We already have 3 of these. She plays no differently from Ayaka who we've known for almost 4 years.

I know she's definitely popular and has generated a lot of hype on her own, but she really feels like a last minute addition.
