As if we have multi-million dollar textile factories for everyone step from raw cotton, to fabric to final t-shirt production all set up and 100% ready to go. News flash, we don't, at all. At best we might have a production for a few steps but not at the level needed for full USA consumer needs. Soooooo they will import the fabric etc but guess what, that gets hit with the 40% tariff anyways.
basically anything/everything from Nam, stuff that is mostly textile, just went up at least 30% to 50%+.. Maybe someone can weasel out of the full 40% but it's still a $15 shirt for $19 if they eat into their margins. $22 to $25 if they try to keep everyone in their company employed.
