There is a technical quirk in noob v-pred 1.0 that makes it look better when your negs are completely empty (or you use the zero out node, if on Comfy), picrel. The effect mostly goes away in merged checkpoints, but it taught me to not use negatives preemptively, only when they are necessary.
For example using "uncensored" in positives is much stronger than listing out "censored, mosaic censorship, bar censor" in negs; and many other common negatives can be similarly replaced with a positive prompt.
