shonen based on shonen is such fucking soulless slop. hxh is good because togashi is a giant tabletop RPG nerd that also loves video games. nen was a system made by a man that loved systems. ygo was good silly shonen because takahashi genuinely loved games, american comics and the occult. there's literally nothing in jjk or demon slayer because their authors are nothing but shonenfags regurgitating shonen. i respect garbage like baki more than demon slayer because at least Itagaki has weird fixations he jams in with unrepentant japanese nationalism.
