The idea that causality propagates at c because it takes the information of the event that long to reach us seems ludicrous.
If you were 30 light years from earth, it would not be true that Michael Jackson is still alive. Even when we talk about the light from distant stars, we say "this is what the star looked like in the distant past, it's not showing us the star as it is now" or talk about how Betelgeuse "may have already gone supernova".

This happened to me. I began working out because I was tired of being seen as the scrawny weak guy all throughout school and high school.
Went from 6'2" 145 to 202 over the years, cut down to a lean 185.
Not crazy strong or big but I can incline bench 185 for 11, do 15-20 decent chin ups depending on the day, curl 100lbs for 10....
I feel much better and more confident now. Men respect me more and women give me more attention. It has been difficult at times to keep God first and not to make and idol of physicality, but it is doable with the Holy Spirit.
There, in my experience, will remain a shard of skinny, weak guy in you, when you fail to perform some feat or someone calls you weak for whatever reason it will rear it's bird-like head, frothing a series of gutteral honks and chirps in the deep waters of your spirit.
