LiS works in two ways, a vacuum and having an overarching story. You can have the individual stories (LiS1, TC, LiS 2) and have the overarching stories (LiS1, DE). I hope if a new LiS drops it has more meetings of peeps with powers. Please excuse my 140iq+ but I really hope we get a dialouge that breaks the wall with:
