the parents mold the mental veil of the interactive interpret of reality. if your parents are constantly negative towards you, its possible that you will have negative intrusive thoughts or simply a negative worldview that cant be shaken. since we are biased towards not seeing our parents as the source of a problem, this may never become known to the person, and they start blaming something else. after teenhood the person may further grave the problems by seeing themselves as the source of a problem, when it is a problem by the extesion of half their mind that has been modeled so by the primary source to the world (the parents) when they were kids. a lot of 'mental disorders' are easily explained that way. language or morality being taken for granted is the first step to taking life for granted too, because language is the way we shape conscience, and vice versa.
