The story is well done, but episodic (girl/area/enemy of the patch) and harem-like, so if you don't like that you'll be disappointed. The start of the story (jinzhou) is super rough though (around 6 hours) due to late rewrites from the CBT. English VA since around 1.3 is one of the best in gacha, but jp is generally the standard. The safest unity is shorekeeper, and any new dps will undoubtedly be strong, but what you need to see is the level of investment required. Some like augusta can use fully f2p teams, while others will want full 5* team and weapons.
