OP: to prevent undesirables from crossing your property, you will physically have to block it off and then protect it. I recommend building at least an 8ft tall see-through metal fence with 2ft deep footings all the way around. Then get 2 of these (they’re much better with st least 1 other dog) and pay the money to make sure they’re well-trained. They get through the fence every time so you have to convince them to stay.

The fence easily delineates public property and the dogs make sure the public respects it.
