Finding fault with your surroundings is something you can do anywhere in the world, anon. You err by being unable to critique your surroundings without obsessing over your own personal unhappiness as if it were some grievous wrong. Life is full of struggle and pain, that's a simple fact. If you ate some crappy street food and got a bellyache, you can obsess over how much it sucks, or you can compartmentalize your misery and focus your attention on better things.
