There's a bunch of different ways, installing the RPM maker resource packs and using Wine is good for a chunk of it but if you want extremely high compatibility rate outside of chromium based games while needing only a slightly higher bar of tech literacy:
>Get steam
>Run game through steam
>Force start via most recent version of proton or proton experimental by right clicking the title in question then going to Properties>Compatibility>Force start in (whatever the most recent version of Proton is)
For anything that needs moonspeak locale there's a resource pack you can install on github I think along with a copypaste command that you slap into steam launch options to automatically take care of it.
