Do you think humans before civilization find nature pretty? Did they feel awesome and amazement at the stars, views from mountains, beautiful flowers? Or did they see nature only for practicality?

Do modern humans only appreciate nature's beauty because of civilization and less need to see nature as survival?

I think about this a lot.
