It's performative outrage, everyone is hoping someone else will do something but just like the last several times nobody will do anything and life will go on. This is more jealousy than grief, rightoids are mad that they don't have bloodthirsty crusaders on their side and their president won't really do anything about it either except more performative bullshit.
Retaliatory slayings wouldn't accomplish anything anyway, people need to seriously ask themselves why this shit keeps happening even though they voooooted so hard and got their guy in.
