Really needed a scene where he contemplates just leaving the Order but decides he can't in a time of war and crisis. Maybe have Palpatine and Padme both tell him "yes Anakin, lead with your heart, you know best". Just a little moment to show this whiny, traumatised brat can see what the real issue is in his life (the Order's outdated and flawed dogma) but still retain some tragedy in his otherwise wholly self-centered fall to darkness (self-sacrificing enough that he'd stay to fight even when he could just leave).
