Not in full armor, no. I go to those sometimes. I have tons of friends who are into it, be it from practitioner side or blacksmithing side. Sometimes i go to their clubs, do some training, compare. Kendo and Hema are so similar I can imagine in 20 years there will be tournaments where both they could meet under same rules.

Covid and then SMO fucked that up. Bohort was mostly a slav thing, sadly. HEMA is very active. I hear about new clubs popping up everywhere these days.

HEMA only recently established itself in Serbia so it was avalilability more than anything else. Also how you fight with shinai in kendo and federschwert in HEMA are like...85% similar. If you're into one already, it's easy to transition. I myself would always suggest people go to kendo first because japanese martial arts are much more structured than anything else BUT there is a risk of having a bullshido senseis (which I due to my huge luck, mostly avoided).
