This reminds me of a recent manga I have been enjoying even if only a few chapters are out, so is a premature judgment "Nibanme na Boku to Ichiban no Kanojo".

One thing I am enjoying is that the class are lunatics but they very much act like it often happens in Manga and Anime, they make fun of the MC because someone with his same name appears to be a better version of him and thus they call him number 2, like here in the very first chapter they can't believe that a cute girl wouldn't go out with the "number one" and she is probably pranking the MC.

It feels so far, like 2 normal people have been placed inside a typical Manga universe.
