The reality of manufacturing is that a lot more mundane, practical components will bring in a cash flow needed for any CNC job shop to survive. If you want to get into machining interesting stuff, you'll be looking into more niche industries like aerospace, semiconductor mfg, etc. Besides, they are not going to waste 5-axis simultaneous machines on scrubs like you in CNC machining school. You gotta learn your 3 axis before you even think about that stuff. Machining is a pretty valuable skill but if you'd rather bitch and go back to >>64394617, then what's stopping you from going back?
