I think it is a natural reaction to the societal developments.
Young boys nowadays are fed propaganda about how they and their gender is the root of all evil.
Usually by female talking heads (be it as teachers, in the media etc).
We also see the dating market be totally fucked, largely due to women hypergamy but also due to the societal norms about relations and marriage that women (and jews) have destroyed.
The young men are also discriminated against (openly) on the job market, again in favor of women and people of the color brown.
So with that out of the way, while the foundation is organic (like we saw in Reclaim Wallstreet), I also get a feeling that it is being spammed and shilled in a way to drown any discussion on pol as well.
The agencies, like ADL, JIDF etc, have a strategy on forums and imageboards like this one to simply drown out any serious discussion and either overtly sabotage it (like uhg/NAFO), drowning out any conversation with spam (JIDF, usually BBC spam) but also with redirection.
The latter is what I think a large part of the incel threads are.
It is a topic that grabs attention (due to it being a legitimate cause at its root), but it is intentionally spammed to distract people here from normal engagement. (Again, this is visible on all large forums)
Well poisoning, redirection of attention and just direct sabotage of discussions is exactly what jewish groups always do.
Their goal is to shut you up and control the discourse (probably all of society as well), any pretext is fine and any method (apparently even murder) is fine.
