Realistic proportions are always more beautiful than exaggerated bodies with balloon tits. Our minds are very good at discerning when a human body looks right or not, and after the first couple of games, Dead or Alive designers have done really well at making the characters very beautiful in ways that don't make them look ridiculous. Honoka has the most exaggerated, "unrealistic" proportions but there's nothing outrageous about her, she is just very short, slightly thick and has very large breasts.
