Reminder that the feather-head indians (as opposed to dot-head ones) used to hunt bison and buffallo by starting massive forest and brush fires to drive entire herds of hundreds of animals off the edge of a cliff so they could take 1 or 2 carcasses home to feast. The rest would be left to rot. The fire would be left to destroy the area.

Whites hunted bisons and buffallos mainly as a way of halting pow-wow indians (as opposed to poo-poo indians) from raiding homesteads and farms and stealing any women and children they didn't murder or scalp. It was to deprive them of their food source. It worked and the barbaric savage raids stopped.
