I only really got into him within the last few years myself, too. I mean I grew up watching Labyrinth (peak) and listening to his songs on occasion, but I never really did a deep dive, I guess. Blackstar is fucking phenomenal; the man was an artist to the bitter end. There are so many songs of his I love, but if I had to list a few top hits I'd say (in no particular order): Station to Station, New Killer Star, Thursday's Child, Starman, and As The World Falls Down. Pardon the 'tistic spam.

That's a good way to describe it. I mean, I guess it literally plays as characters' lives flash before their eyes, but something about it is just so perfectly fitting for it.

Nta but did you post a Pale Waves song a few days ago? I meant to reply that I had just started listening to them but then a roulette popped and by the time I got out the thread was gone.
