from every angle there is what looks like a black line.

go scroll /r/converse and you wont find another pair with the black line on the back of the toe cap.

he might have just drawn it on with sharpie.

the black line on his shoes is unique. it's not part of normal converse. i guess he drew it on? you cant even custom make them on the converse site that way. i have 6+ different pairs of converse and none have that line. i checked their web site and dont see it their either. the shoes are unique.
