Is it millenial interior design that forces these places to look so soulless and artificial? There are local chains of brunch places (only open for breakfast and lunch) and they make decent food but for eggs and pancakes its overpriced and they all have the IDENTICAL decorations. Its strange and feels so forced like a millenial saw their grandparents rec room and tried to copy the decades of shit on the wall, but discovered ordering all that crap from Wayfair was expensive so they just spread out what they already bought.
Its so sad, but that CEO isn't the type of person to eat at cracker barrel regularly even before taking control (and worse, currently) of the place. I think she's making girlboss decisions because even the board isn't going to get involved with rebrands, but they fuckin should. They're all collectively looking at a loss of half a billion dollars, and there can't be that many of them in that board room wondering what the fuck is going on.
