Do you understand the chapter you are discussing? It is establishing a narrative to the people in charge of the jewish religion at the time to put them on blast.

Jesus literally pre-meditated violence by making a whip and beating the shit out of profit chasing merchants in the temple ( basically a holy place, the presence of the Lord )... dude was pulling the first Luigi on JEWISH profiteers.
So he is angry at jewish merchants trying to turn a profit at the expense of anything holy ( sounds like a ton of bankers today ) and he is angry at jewish religion zealots that completely lost sight of their beliefs and became corrupt and prideful ( sounds like a ton of jews today ).
